Leadership - Mr. Armstrong
Leadership is a very important class. Not just to me, but for the whole school. Why is this? Well, for us, it's because we learn to put our fellow students' needs in front of our own. A great quote sums up this elective class. The quote is, "90% of the people do 10% of the work, and 10% of the people do 90% of the work." This means that we are the 10%, and that we do a lot of the work. But the important thing is that we shouldn't brag or put ourselves in front of others.
Leadership Projects In Leadership, their really isn't a project. Setting up rallies and events? That's just a regular part of the class. CCN? Everyone has to get on it from Leadership at one point. But, what is the point of this class? As the name says. We have to be leaders. We put others in front of ourselves. We like to have fun, of course. Some of the tools/websites we have currently used are Values.com and Google's different tools. Google is just used for helping us keep our information orderly and neat.
There is one project we are working right now. We are working on a canned food drive There is something new that we are doing that we've never done before. We are actually teaming up with a class from Fresno State to raise even more money. Every can of food will be traded for a ticket, which will be added to a large raffle. The winner(s) will get prizes such as an iPod or other prizes. |
